I have attempted to start this thank you letter about six times now, and continue to lose words for the appreciation my husband and I have for all that you did for us. You seriously saved my birthday.
The trip was outstanding. I couldn't have had a better 30th birthday, thanks to you. Not only were your services amazing, but your personal attention and masterful and generous crisis planning literally made the entire vacation memorable. There are no "thank you's" in this world that can convey how appreciative we are of your work and support. Also, your donation to my ride was above and beyond my expectations of which I have an abundance of appreciation for.
Thank you for all you do and all you have done. I will DEFINITELY be passing on your information to all our friends.

Meant to reply this weekend, but was catching up on other items since
I was away from home for the past week.
General feedback (in answer to your questions)
Initial contact: After our initial contact and your response to our
travel plans, you immediately replied with some great suggestions and
asked me more specifically what I was looking for. Based on our
emails, you came back with a travel itinerary that truly met our
requirements plus extra. I had been in touch with 2 other agencies
and found that the travel itineraries had things that I did not want
and it felt like they missed the key points of what we were wanting in
our holiday. Plus, the added piece was your communication style...you
were quick to reply to questions, addressed changes and made
recommendations to help decide on the ideal holiday. And, your
pricing was competitive, of course, which allowed us to manage within
the budget we had in mind. All of that really made us choose you over
the others.
Why we WILL use you again: the trip was more than we could have hoped
for, the local agent helped through a few minor changes (due to
weather conditions) and I know you were in contact with the local
agent throughout our trip. We felt that we were taken care of and
looked out for in case anything went wrong. I also appreciated that
you checked in following our vacation to find out how it went. Again,
your communication style and attention to the details fo our holiday
made us feel very comfortable with the services you provided. I
really have not had this particular experience in the past and that
aspect certainly sets you apart from others. When we book our holiday
next time (and, yes, we will cage dive again and want to see more of
Africa), we know we'll be in good hands !! Overall, it felt very
personal, which is important to me.

I chose you because you got back to me quickly, were accommodating in your response, and made it easy for us to make the arrangements. It was a bit of time ago, but I think we contacted someone that was referred to us who was local and we wanted to meet to explain our complicated ideas and he was not accommodating at all. So we went to the internet searching for people who might specialize in what we were trying to do. You responded almost immediately and seemed knowledgeable. We would use you again for complicated travel like what we did – ie overseas travel, etc. We would probably not use any travel agent for travel within the United States as that is pretty easy to arrange on your own. It was awfully nice to be met at all the ports, etc. When you are tired the last thing you want to do is try to figure out how to get from point A to point B. By the way we loved the Emirates airline and would definitely use them again. We will certainly let our friends and relatives know.

Thanks Jon, I do appreciate the email and I am so aware that since this is my first international trip, I am so used to America and the things I take for granted in America. I am just reading this and I am sorry I responded so late I have been working since I have been back home. But I chose you over the other agents because I felt like we really connected, you seemed very interested that my trip was such a success and very courteous and just on top of things. You made sure we kept in contact and you were so courteous and friendly, besides the other trip agents didnt have the vision that I had regarding fun activities and your activities seemed to suit my needs to the T. I choose to continue to stay with you when I travel in the future because we have a relationship, why mess a good thing up? I feel like you and the team did a wonderful job (every trip has its kinks) but overall it was awesome. You made me feel like I was involved every step of the way in my decision making of the trip so I appreciate that.
What you said about the other countries makes perfect sense in that America has alot of luxuries and I was used to staying in the big/industrialized hotels so that was a total shock to me. Thanks
